PechaKucha Night Chicago organizer and star architect Peter Exley graces this week's very special edition of PechaKucha People. Peter has been a proud supporter of PechaKucha since it’s inception and this month, Chicago celebrates its 50th event!! As he is running for the Presidency of the American Institute of Architects in 2021, we can think of no one better to lead the architectural profession with purpose, passion, fun and wicked fashion sense. If you are at the AIA National Convention - VOTE PETER!

Hailing from PechaKucha Night Santander, for this weeks PechaKucha People we'd love to introduce you to the ever curious and creative Jónatan Piedra. Born in the fantastic 20th century, Jónatan has always been curious about everyday things, such as the origin of the universe. He has been studying and researching the field of physics for years and believes that it is own choice, but also his duty, to teach and talk about physics to others, whether they be other physicists, children in schools, or grown-ups in a theater at a PechaKucha Night. In fact, you can catch him this week at PechaKucha Night Santander Vol. 9 on May 24th. If you're just as curious as he is about physics, make sure you don't miss out on this great event this Friday! Thanks for everything you do, Jónatan, and we can't wait to see what else you've got!

Our PechaKucha People lens focuses in on Craig Nicholson this week. Craig breaks conventional boundaries and immerses himself in art to do just that. Organizer of PKN Wellington, Craig approaches the world and his work with an intercultural perspective. Between his proficiency in 4 languages and his diverse network, he brings nothing but light and open-mindedness to the PechaKucha family. Thank you for your passion and hard work Craig, it does not go unnoticed. The best of luck to PechaKucha Night Wellington Vol. 34!

This week's PechaKucha People spotlight lands on PechaKucha Night Warwick organizer Phyllis Lehman. For Phyllis, art is a form of expression that goes beyond an artist and their medium. She sees it as a theraputic and life enhancing activity that everyone should enjoy and participate in. By day, she is an artist and therapist and by night, a PKN Warwick organizer, so she lives and breathes creativity! Thank you for your PechaKucha passion and we wish you the best of luck hosting PechaKucha Night Warwick Vol. 6. Keep inspiring others to be creative, Phyllis!
